The Beadsmith Steel Bench Block is an essential jeweler’s tool with many purposes. The long-lasting block starts with hardened steel base, for strength and continued use. The surface is chrome plated and measures 3 inches in diameter and 0.75 inches high. Polished to a mirror finish, the solid metal plate is resistant to dents and scratches. A form fitting soft plastic base encases the bottom, designed to absorb the impact of tools on metal. The weight of the block keeps it in place on your work surface, also protecting your workbench from excessive wear and tear. The flat surface allows you to lay out your designs, prior to starting your projects.
Once you’re ready to start creating, use your block for chasing, shaping, and stamping metal blanks and jewelry tags. Perfect for hardening wire and works with all types of metal including gold, sterling silver and copper. The bench blocks are ideal for silversmithing and metalsmithing and can be used with ball peen hammers, mallets, and other tools.
Our round, steel plate is part of our Metal Elements line, which includes alphabet letters; number sets and punctuation kits. Make personalized pieces for all occasions. This is a great addition for your jewelry making supplies. Create custom necklaces, bracelets, and rings, by making charms, tags, and other one-of-a-kind trinkets. This bench block is ideal for use with rivets, an engraver, reamer, soldering torch and more!

- PROTECTIVE BASE- The bottom of the metal block is encased in a soft removable plastic base that helps absorbs the loud impact while stamping. The block protects your work surface, ensuring a more legible imprint on your metal. The silicone bottom also helps alleviate rebound while striking your hammer while stamping.
- PROFESSIONAL TOOL- Made of hardened steel, this flat anvil jewelers tool is scratch and dent resistant. The long-lasting surface is chrome-plated and polished to a mirror finish. Great for personal use as well, the block measures 3 inches in diameter and 3/4 inches in height, perfect for up close, detailed stamping on a pendant, metal blank or jewelry tag.
